Playing with VARA-HF and found again how good mode that is: low power and simple antenna offer good contacts worldwide.
Yesterday morning I made a contact with a station on Hawaii -island and took part in the Hawaii QSO Party. Just a while ago, I saw a beacon from New Zealand; tested so called PING and received a good report, so I tried to make contact, but the ZL1RD was away. Fortunately I could send vMail -message into his VARA-mailbox there. Just a good combination: VARA-modem with VarAC-software.
